Funsani Raps Barinitas for 5 Hits Tuesday, August 4th, 2065 No matter what the Barinitas Partridges threw at him today, Wagaw Funsani hit it. He easily handled Partridges pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Metropolitans to a 4-3 triumph at Ballpark of San Luis. "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Funsani's quip, Partridges skipper said he "would take him up on that next time." Wagaw Funsani doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
