Star of the Week Picked in KORPA Monday, August 12th , 2069 27-year-old Min-jae Chong made a few Cabano headlines during this past week as the rookie left fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and KOR Primary Affiliation officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 11 hits in 22 at-bats to put up a .500 average. Chong collected 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and scored 6 runs. This year Chong is batting .226 with 8 home runs. |
