Bacela Pitches Villa Tabara Arriba to Shutout Victory Wednesday, July 10th , 2069 Delmar Bacela kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Villa Tabara Arriba Padres were all smiles after winning 4-0 against the Nueva Gerona Daggers at Padres Ballpark today. The left-handed Bacela gave up no runs in his start, permitted 4 hits and had 4 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Bacela said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be."
