Shiratori on the Attack, Player of the Week Monday, August 16th, 2066 So far in his young career, Akihito Shiratori has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the JPN Primary Affiliation in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Xingtai Disciples center fielder hit at a torrid .476 clip as he collected 10 hits in 21 at-bats, no home runs, 9 RBIs and 6 runs scored. Shiratori is batting at a .296 pace this season, picking up 112 hits in 379 at-bats with 13 home runs, 52 RBIs and 54 runs scored. |
