Week's Premier Player: Guayubin's Ushijima Monday, July 15th , 2069 The votes have been cast and counted and the winner of the CUB Tertiary Affiliation Player of the Week has been chosen. It was presented earlier today to Jo Ushijima for his red-hot week of hitting. The Guayubin right fielder took home the trophy by splurging with 11 hits in 27 at-bats for a .407 batting average, driving in 8 runs and scoring 6 times. This year Ushijima is hitting .282 with 8 home runs and 36 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .388 clip and scored 33 runs. |
