Injury Sidelines Flaco Bonifaz for Season Tuesday, August 13th , 2069 The season is finished for Flaco Bonifaz of the Pueblo Viejo Mudsharks. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Mudsharks closer suffered bone chips in his elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Airdrie Roosters. Team doctors said it would take at least 8 months to heal. To date Bonifaz has 3 saves with a 3-0 mark and 5.13 ERA. Opposing teams are hitting .225 against him. |
