Barrage of Hits Gets Álvarez JPNTA Award Monday, June 17th , 2069 So far in his young career, Tajo Álvarez has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the JPN Tertiary Affiliation in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Pueblo Viejo Mudsharks second baseman hit at a torrid .600 clip as he collected 12 hits in 20 at-bats, no home runs, 4 RBIs and 7 runs scored. For the year Álvarez is hitting .258 with no home runs. His stats include 6 RBI and 12 runs scored. |
