Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Mojitos
Cancun and Hamilton duked it out and the Mojitos came out victorious.

Wei Lo was a major contributor to the 7-4 Cancun win over Hamilton. The Mojitos center fielder was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs. Kantaro Yamamoto earned his 5th save in 7 chances.

Cancun used the timely hitting of Joaquín Contreras to capture the win. The pinch hitter socked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Mojitos ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a big one.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Contreras told a Cancun Chronicle reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."

The last-place Mojitos go to 42-54.
