Chihuahuas Top Mexico City, 8-7
The Chihuahua Chihuahuas beat the Mexico City Gila Monsters, 8-7, at Ballpark of Chihuahua. The win was due in part to left fielder Jim Niña, who was 5 for 7 with a home run and 4 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Chihuahua now sits in last place in the Latitude Division at 19-23.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 13th. With two out, Niña hit a fastball from Mário Ibáñez for a run-scoring single. The Chihuahuas, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"It feels good to get this one," Niña told the Chihuahua Bulletin.
