Alfons Selected VENSA Player of the Week Monday, May 31st, 2066 Maarten Alfons made quite a splash in the VEN Secondary Affiliation this past week. The Ciudad Valles Screamers third baseman drilled opposing pitchers for 14 hits in 25 at-bats to roll up a .560 batting average and the VEN Secondary Affiliation Player of the Week Award. He also contributed 1 home run, 8 RBIs and 4 runs scored to his club's offensive attack. In 25 games this season Alfons has batted at a .400 pace with 32 hits and 1 home run. |
