The Yoju Outcasts center fielder tore up the San Cristobal de las Casas Possums to the tune of 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Outcasts Ballpark today. The offensive onslaught from Balmaceda powered the Outcasts to a 9-8 win. "Balmaceda was a tough out today," San Cristobal de las Casas manager said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Carlos Balmaceda singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 5th, walked in the 8th, hit an RBI single in the 8th, singled in the 10th, hit an RBI single in the 11th and singled in the 13th.
