Super Swinger -- Warrender Slams 5 Hits Wednesday, June 26th , 2069 It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-5 day. For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for Maxey Warrender, it came around today. The 23-year-old right fielder scattered hits all over Ballpark of Ciudad Valles to pace the Fuxin Wrens to a 10-1 victory over the Ciudad Valles Screamers. Ciudad Valles skipper told reporters in the press room that "Warrender deserves a hat-tip." "He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Warrender hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit." Maxey Warrender hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
