VEN News: Spring Training Begins Thursday, March 27th , 2070 Spring training is more than just laid-back, carefree living in warm-weather climes. For clubs, it's about self-evaluation. For players, it's about making the big squad, or, failing that, impressing club officials enough to earn a promotion in the minor ranks. For team doctors, it begins the daily struggle against injury, illness, tiredness and general disrepair. Hardly the lackadaisical atmosphere portrayed in the media. |
