Red-Hot Rampage Reaps KORTA Reward Monday, June 11th , 2068 Yesan fans have something to crow about today as Yesan center fielder Jenbere Mwanza nabbed the KOR Tertiary Affiliation Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Mwanza. He posted a .375 average (9-for-24) this past week with 3 home runs, 6 RBIs, and 3 runs scored. This year Mwanza is batting .232 with 5 home runs and 10 RBIs. |
