Behind Costello, Candelaria Blanks Ungsang, 4-0 Sunday, June 3rd , 2068 José Costello subdued the Ungsang Punks, 4-0, pitching a 1-hit gem for the Candelaria Metros at Punks Ballpark. "He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Candelaria skipper said afterward. Costello registered 11 strikeouts and issued no walks in his superb performance. "We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said Ungsang manager after the defeat. This year Costello has fashioned a 5-0 mark, 1.11 ERA and pitched 48.2 innings.
