His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 25-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the KOR Secondary Affiliation Reliever of the Year Award for 2069.
The Hachioji, Japan native won the award with 17 saves in 38 relief appearances, 73 strikeouts in 53.1 innings and a record of 6-6 to go with his 1.69 ERA.
