Showstoppers Fernando Vázquez Swings Hot Bat, KORSA Winner Monday, July 29th , 2069 It was some kind of week for Fernando Vázquez of the Tampa Showstoppers. First he hits the heck out of the ball, ripping it at a .500 clip and the next thing you know, he is voted the Player of the Week in the KOR Secondary Affiliation. Last week Vázquez went 9-for-18, chalked up 1 home run and 4 RBIs and scored 3 runs. Not a bad week's work at all. Presently Vázquez is batting .279 with 3 home runs and 31 RBIs. He has played in 64 games and scored 24 times. |
