Barbedo Strokes 5 Hits Sunday, August 1st, 2066 5 times is the charm -- at least for Ireno Barbedo. The Port Alberni Warhorses center fielder tore up the Pimentel Battleships to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Battleships Stadium today. The offensive onslaught from Barbedo powered the Warhorses to a 15-5 win. "Barbedo was a tough out today," Pimentel manager said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Ireno Barbedo singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, tripled in the 5th, walked in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
