Shiomi Hurls 4-0 Shutout Wednesday, July 7th, 2066 In a remarkable performance, Port Alberni Warhorses starter Toshikuni Shiomi beat the Tanggu Border Cats 4-0 in an impressive 3-hit shutout. "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this." The Warhorses hurler finished with 9 strikeouts and no walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. "It was a rough one for my guys," Tanggu manager said following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
