Villalabos Homers 3 Times Against Sosan Monday, May 20th , 2069 Players don't hit three home runs in a game very often and when they do, it is something to celebrate. After today, Manny Villalabos can celebrate. The Cabano Black Aces left fielder powered three into the stands at Flame Ballpark today against the Sosan Flame. "It's rare that you actually try to hit a home run," Villalabos told reporters after the game. "Most of the time you fail, if you really try to hit one. But today, I was really trying on that last one." In all, he was 4-for-5 as the Black Aces toppled Sosan by a score of 11-6, knocking in 7 runs and scoring 4 times. "He is blessed with a natural home run swing," Cabano manager said. "He gets the ball up in the air." Manny Villalabos grounded out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Shu-de Khoo in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Mitch Fairn in the 6th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Miguel Teze in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This year Villalabos is batting .264 with 3 home runs. |
