Cheju's Endo Sidelined for Season Tuesday, August 4th, 2065 The doctors have spoken and Noriaki Endo of the Cheju Volcano didn't like what he heard. The 24-year-old third baseman is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Endo sustained his season-ending injury during the Quebec Dragons game yesterday at Dragons Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while running the bases. Today the Cheju medical staff reported Endo had a broken bone in the elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 5 months. So far this year in 37 games Endo is hitting .271 with 4 home runs, 18 RBIs and 17 runs scored. |
