Núñez Garners LAD #1 Pitcher Award Thursday, September 1st, 2067 Tonio Núñez was the anchor in the Changsha bullpen last month and snatched up the Latitude Division Pitcher of the Month honors for August. The 28-year-old is in the prime of his career and pitching like he intends to stay around baseball for quite some time to come. He threw 15.1 innings over 15 relief appearances and collected a 4-2 record with 20 strikeouts and 8 saves while etching his 3.52 ERA. To date, Núñez has registered a 5-3 won-lost mark, has 46 relief appearances and rung up 31 saves.
