Bejuco's Gato Suspended Thursday, July 18th , 2069 For his part in an altercation with an umpire over a third strike, Bejuco Reprisals first baseman Sekien Gato will have to sit out 4 games. The league commissioner's office today notified the Reprisals that Gato had been suspended for his poor conduct during the Engines game yesterday at Bejuco Grounds. After being ejected, Gato turned and walked toward the dugout, but then turned around, began yelling at the umpire and kicked dirt on home plate. The league said this type of behavior is not acceptable and will be dealt with according to league disciplinary policies. This season Gato is hitting .255 with 3 home runs. |
