Pitcher Chabolla Named CUBTA Player of the Week Monday, July 8th , 2069 Marcos Chabolla became the latest recipient of the CUB Tertiary Affiliation Player of the Week Award for his superlative performance this past week. To win the best player honor the 25-year-old Bejuco hurler tossed a total of 16.2 innings, collecting 2 wins, 6 strikeouts and a 1.08 earned run average. He suffered no losses. Thus far this season Chabolla has posted a 5-1 record, started 5 games, struck out 24 batters in 53.1 innings and compiled a 2.87 ERA. |
