Aguitar Hits in 20 Straight Games Monday, August 9th, 2066 The Las Teyerias Slam may have proven to be mere mortals today as they lost 11-9 to the Hanyang Union, but José Aguitar continued to hit like a god. The center fielder collected 3 hits in 6 at-bats in the loss and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. "Aguitar is playing great and is on fire right now," Slam manager said. "Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins." Aguitar was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said "nothing else matters but the loss." José Aguitar hit an RBI double in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 8th and flied out in the 9th. So far this year, Aguitar is batting .319 with 3 home runs and 36 RBIs. |
