Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Thursday, July 28th, 2067 Gabriel Calivillo of the Hongsong Checkers and Shirai Yasujiro of the Helena Condors received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 5 and 6 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Hongsong Grounds. This season Calivillo has hit 4 home runs and posted a .249 batting average. Thus far this season Yasujiro has posted a 7-5 record, started 17 games, struck out 107 batters in 99.1 innings and compiled a 3.71 ERA. |
