Soledad-Ningbo Fight Results in Suspensions Saturday, August 18th , 2068 Geraldo Vélez of the Soledad Mountain Ducks and Gabriel Tovar of the Ningbo Devil Rays received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 4 and 9 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Mountain Ducks Ballpark. This year Vélez has registered no saves in 6 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 1-2 won-lost mark with a 3.38 ERA. In 29.1 innings he has fanned 22. So far this season, Tovar has a 2-1 won-lost record with 1 save. He has made 19 relief appearances, logged 46.2 innings and fanned 50 batters while fashioning a 5.01 ERA and allowing the opposition a .238 batting average. |
