Emanuele Cossa Hurt, Out for Year Monday, June 11th , 2068 The doctors have spoken and Emanuele Cossa of the Morovis Skyrockets didn't like what he heard. The 38-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Cossa sustained his season-ending injury during the Lagunas de Nisibon Rampagers game yesterday at Ballpark of Morovis. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Morovis medical staff reported Cossa had bone chips in his elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4 months. Thus far this season Cossa has saved 0 games. His won-lost mark is no wins and 1 loss with 7 strikeouts in 13 innings, along with a 5.54 ERA. |
