USATA Gives Outstanding Pitcher Award Thursday, September 6th , 2068 Timo Hernández was the most outstanding pitcher in the USA Tertiary Affilition this year and today was acclaimed the USA (A) Pitcher of the Year Award winner for his efforts. Hernández had a marvelous season, going 7-4 with an impressive 1.59 ERA in 19 starts. He struck out 116 in 135.2 innings and limited opposing batters to a .176 batting average. He received 5 first place votes out of a possible 8. Ariel Landero of the Sydney Train finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Arturo Dormane of the Sydney Train finished third.
