Mudsharks Haddis Wamugunda Will Miss Season Sunday, August 8th, 2066 The doctors have spoken and Haddis Wamugunda of the Pueblo Viejo Mudsharks didn't like what he heard. The 24-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Wamugunda sustained his season-ending injury during the Caimito del Guayabal Conchs game yesterday at Mudsharks Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Pueblo Viejo medical staff reported Wamugunda had a ruptured disc and would be absent from the lineup for at least 7-8 months. This year his season stats show Wamugunda has no saves in 11 relief appearances with a 0-1 record and 4.05 ERA. |
