Oglethorpe Earns USATA Player of the Week Monday, August 13th , 2068 So far in his young career, Graeme Oglethorpe has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USA Tertiary Affilition in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Sydney Train right fielder hit at a torrid .556 clip as he collected 10 hits in 18 at-bats, 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Thus far this season Oglethorpe is hitting .226 with 8 home runs, 44 RBIs and 33 runs scored. He has 58 hits in 257 at-bats and has played in 77 games. |
