No-Hit Masterpiece by Hernández Saturday, July 21st , 2068 Excitement reigned at Fairfield Grounds today as Grove City Wolverines hurler Timo Hernández tossed a baseball rarity -- a no-hitter. After defeating the Las Teyerias Slam, 7-0, he was swamped by reporters in the clubhouse for postgame comments. "I'm just glad to be here," Hernández said. "Today I just went right at the Slam as hard as I could, as long as I could." Hernández chalked up 12 strikeouts and allowed 3 walks in his superb performance. "I don't think they could have stopped him with a howitzer today," said Grove City manager . In 16 starts this season Hernández has fashioned a 5-3 record and a 1.73 ERA.
