Okakura USASA's #1 Pitcher in June Sunday, July 1st , 2068 Shohei Okakura of Moron had an award-winning June as he took home the USA Secondary Affiliation Pitcher of the Month award. "He told me once people used to make fun of the way he pitches," Okakura's pitching coach told reporters. "There wasn't anybody laughing in June except for Shohei." Okakura was all business when he took the mound though, collecting a 4-1 record in 6 starts. He struck out 27 batters in 37 innings and kept opponents to a .137 batting average. Looking at his season stats, Okakura has won 6 and lost 3, collecting 58 strikeouts and 25 walks in 71 innings with a 2.28 ERA. |
