League Suspends Kouno and Takahashi for Brawl Sunday, August 1st, 2066 If there wasn't a history between Yasunari Kouno of Moca and Nobuhiko Takahashi of Lagunillas, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 4 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Kouno said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." This year Kouno is batting .337 with 94 hits and 29 home runs. He has scored 54 times and has batted in 58 runs. This season Takahashi has crafted a 4-8 mark with a 3.77 ERA in 100.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .242 against him and he has 78 strikeouts. |
