Bojórquez Gone for Season in Colon
Thursday, July 15th, 2066
The doctors have spoken and Hugo Bojórquez of the Colon Cougars didn't like what he heard. The 25-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Bojórquez sustained his season-ending injury during the Mao Dadaistas game yesterday at Ballpark of Mao. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Colon medical staff reported Bojórquez had a torn back muscle and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4-5 months.
Here are his stats for this season: Bojórquez has chalked up no saves and fashioned a record of 5 wins and 2 losses with a 5.23 ERA. He has made 5 relief appearances, thrown 43 innings and struck out 27.
