Márquez's Season Could be Over Thursday, August 12th, 2066 The season is finished for Enrico Márquez of the Changsha Dragon Riders. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Dragon Riders shortstop suffered a strained groin muscle while running the bases in a recent game against the Puerto Plata Pumas. Team doctors said it would take at least 6 weeks to heal. In 83 games Márquez is hitting .258 this season with 68 hits, 21 home runs, 49 RBIs, 41 walks, .365 OBP and has scored 42 runs. |
