Bad News for Monteon and Thunder Bay Tuesday, April 1st , 2070 Avengers second baseman Edmundo Monteon has suffered a setback in his rehabilitation for a stiff back. He was expected to finish treatment soon and rejoin the team slightly ahead of schedule. Doctors reevaluated him after he felt severe pain in a recent workout. The preliminary examination revealed more damage and is worse than the first injury. Anonymous sources in Thunder Bay told BNN Edmundo Monteon would be absent from the roster quite a bit longer than originally diagnosed. He would now have to miss at least one week. |
