Castros Grabs USAPA Best Batter Award for August Sunday, September 1st , 2069 For a rookie just breaking in, Javiero Castros certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the USAPA Batter of the Month award for August. The 21-year-old left fielder for the Pimentel Platoon hit .338 with 7 home runs, 14 RBIs and 10 runs scored. Castros has played in 104 games and posted a lifetime .317 average. He has 115 hits, 18 doubles, no triples and 17 homers. In addition he has driven in 54 runs and scored 61 times. |
