Platoon Hong No-Hits Pulverizers Saturday, July 6th , 2069 In a dominant outing, Tzu-jao Hong of the Pimentel Platoon totally silenced the bats of the El Tocuyo Pulverizers, finishing with a no-hitter. In the Platoon' 5-0 victory, Hong faced only 34 batters, surrendered no hits, had 8 strikeouts and 5 walks. "Honestly, I didn't even know the situation was what it was until the seventh inning," Pimentel manager said. "I happened to look up there to see how many hits we had gotten, and I happened to notice that they hadn't gotten any." Commenting on the defeat, losing manager had a "pretty simple" analysis of the game. "The Platoon had all the hits and all the runs, so they won," he snapped. "But yeah, Hong pitched a heck of a ballgame." In 13 starts this season, Hong has recorded 5 wins and absorbed 5 losses. He has pitched 79 innings, allowed 68 hits, struck out 55 and has a 4.56 ERA.
