Red-Hot Sellers LOD Player of the Week Monday, August 13th , 2068 26-year-old Chris Sellers sent shock waves through United States Baseball League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Longitude Division Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Sellers made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .394 average, 13 hits in 33 at-bats, 6 home runs and 9 RBI. Where the Azua Tortugas second baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Sellers certainly made his mark last week. Currently Sellers is batting .330 with 21 home runs and 53 RBIs. |
