Cancun-Azua Free-for-All Gets 7-Game Suspensions Saturday, June 2nd , 2068 Joaquín Contreras of the Cancun Mojitos and Cipriano Argenal of the Azua Tortugas got into a wrestling match yesterday at Mojitos Ballpark and now must pay the consequences for violating league rules. They have both been assessed 7-game suspensions by the league for inciting the heated altercation between the two clubs. Contreras is batting .246 this year with 6 home runs, 12 RBIs and 10 runs scored. He has 15 hits in 61 at-bats. This season Argenal has worked 36 innings with 25 strikeouts en route to a 2-2 record and a 2.50 ERA. |
