The Mao Dadaistas picked up a win at Rizao Grounds, knocking off the Rizao Rally Cats, 4-3. On the mound for Mao was right-hander José Morín, who played a pivotal role in the win. Juan Baiz notched his 1st save in 3 chances.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Bob Delaney? The Mao second baseman had a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put the Dadaistas on top, 4-0. For the game, Delaney had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"We played hard and won," said Morín. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
The Dadaistas saw their win-loss record go to 47-64. At the same time, the Rally Cats fell to 54-57.
