Led by Guan-cai Tow, the Oaxaca Nueve Garras de Jaguar defeated the Monterrey Alacranes, 4-2. Tow was 2 for 3 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Nueve Garras de Jaguar. Zorro Ferreiras, the winning pitcher, improved to 5-4. He pitched 6.1 innings, giving up 7 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 6 and walking 1. Enrique Sepúlbeda collected save number 15.

Tow provided the big break for the Nueve Garras de Jaguar in the top of the second inning. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run, helping Oaxaca to get the win.
