Suwon picked up a win at Samsung Roaring Lions Den, bumping off the Rizao Rally Cats, 5-4. Pitcher Jae-shin Kim was a major reason the Samsung Lions emerged victorious. Suwon now owns a record of 16-18.

Had Enrique Martínez not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Martínez hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Samsung Lions.
