Therrien goes 4-for-5 to Power Ventures Offense
Behind the hitting of Ernest Therrien, the Vancouver Ventures stopped the Xi'an Kylin, 5-2. Therrien went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for the Ventures. The triumph puts Vancouver at 64-55 for the season.

It could have been a different outcome for Vancouver, had it not been for Bernie Trowsdale, the 35-year old left fielder . Trowsdale contributed a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to put Vancouver up, 3-0.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Vancouver skipper .
