Valencia Grabs 3-1 Road Win

Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Erie Sea Wolves take on the Valencia Cerveceros.
Valencia Cerveceros pitcher Kung-zheng Sha was in fine form, leading his team past the Erie Sea Wolves, 3-1. The win elevated the Cerveceros to 61-46.
Valencia used the bat of Ze-dong Chen to capture the win. The first baseman jacked a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Cerveceros ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a dandy.
"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Valencia manager said.
