I must say that my division was a lot closer than I thought it would be. Do I avoid relegation? I am sitting in 3rd position to end the year but I am tied with Santiago at 4.5 games back to end the yeat.
The +10 rule hurts the draft pick too … the only thing more ignoble than being relegated is to be relegated and still get a #7 pick. I guess if they end at Venzuela, they could cheer for Toluca and get a #6 pick. And in the meantime, they would have run away with the LOD.
Wow – a couple of unlikely wins in a 4-2 sim and once again the Dadaistas have survived to fight again.
Some major decisions to be made on some key players turning free agent … more details to come. Sorry to Taegu get relegated – for a few seasons in a row this has been the hardest division in WBH and very solid teams have been sent packing.…[Read more]

Usually if they are willing to offer a solid prospect, they insist on unloading an overpriced veteran of their own in the deal.
In other news, Puerto Plata has finally come back to earth, sporting a 10-13 record in August. Still, an 11 game lead with 18 to play is a pretty good position. Over in the LOD headless Nagasaki has a very slippery grip on 1st place, but really they are still in contention to be relegated. They are a first place team who is 48-54.
