2018 LON Batting Crown Goes to Kobayashi
Sunday, September 9th, 2018: When it came to batting average, no one hit better than Junji Kobayashi of the Toluca Toucans this season. The 25-year-old hitting star topped the Longitude Division with a .343 batting average, registering 137 hits in 400 at-bats. The talented first baseman hit 6 home runs and drove in 65 runs. Kobayashi played in 104 games and also collected 29 doubles, 1 triple and scored 60 times.
Davy of Chihuahua Wins Pitching Triple Crown
Sunday, September 9th, 2018: You wouldn't have to be a baseball genius to think Joe Davy will win the coveted MEX Pitcher of the Year Award this year. The Chihuahua Chihuahuas ace certainly has the numbers to take it, topping the Longitude Division with 14 wins, 2.04 ERA and 172 strikeouts to win the Pitching Triple Crown.

"It's a great accomplishment," Davy said told reporters, "but my main goal is to go out there and win every game. The stats are nice, but they don't tell the whole story. The 14 wins are what I'm most proud of."
2018 LAD Batting Title to Jorge Boyas
Sunday, September 9th, 2018: The best batter in the Latitude Division in 2018 was Jorge Boyas of Nuevo Laredo. He earned the the batting title with 165 hits in 463 at-bats for a .356 average, outpacing all his peers. Playing in 117 games, the 24-year-old first baseman also chalked up 39 doubles, 3 triples, 18 home runs, 70 RBIs and scored 79 runs.
