Alacranes Come up Short of Playoffs Tuesday, September 15th, 2065 It's a close-but-no-cigar type of year for the Monterrey Alacranes. The club has now run out of games to make a comeback and will not make the playoffs this season. The Alacranes have missed the playoffs 40 times in their 52 years as a Venezuela Baseball League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 9th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2055. Monterrey last won the Venezuela Championship in 2049. |
