Fei-hsien Zeng Injured, Out for Season Friday, August 16th , 2069 The doctors have spoken and Fei-hsien Zeng of the Lagunas de Nisibon Rampagers didn't like what he heard. The 24-year-old catcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Zeng sustained his season-ending injury during the San Antonio del Tachira Starfish game yesterday at Lagunas de Nisibzn Grounds. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while running the bases. Today the Lagunas de Nisibon medical staff reported Zeng had a torn back muscle and would be absent from the lineup for at least 5 months. So far this year, Zeng is batting .264 with 3 home runs and 11 RBIs. |
